Volunteering with Smoke Rise PTA involves various opportunities, such as helping with fundraising events, supporting teacher and staff appreciation activities, and joining committees. You can commit to ongoing roles or contribute on a more flexible basis, even if you can't make a regular time commitment. 

 

Types of volunteer opportunities

• Fundraising: Help organize and run fundraising events like fun runs, sales of custom gear, or spirit nights. 

• Events and activities: Assist with school-wide events such as book fairs, family nights, or other activities that benefit students. 

• Teacher and staff support: Help coordinate or assist with teacher appreciation events and recognize other essential staff like cafeteria workers and custodians. 

• Committee work: Join a committee focused on a specific area like fundraising, school safety, or community outreach to contribute more deeply in a focused area. 

• Event-specific roles: Help with tasks like setting up for an event, selling tickets, or supervising an activity during an event.
